Drive 45 minutes east to Cairns - the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy day tours to local islands with the opportunity to swim, snorkel and dive this world heritage natural wonder. Travel west 60 minutes and you can experience the Australian outback exploring caves and small country towns all with unique tourism opportunities for you to enjoy.
