In the world of ever increasing access to information our Library staff aim to prepare students to become independent life-long learners. To this end we offer a wide range of print and digital resources for research and reading for pleasure. Guided research is supported by the Library staff to prepare students for independent research tasks across the curriculum. An online catalogue which features links to recommended resources including online databases provides students to become competent information specialists.
Reading clubs for the Junior and Senior schools offer an opportunity to share student reading recommendations. Each week Year 8 and 9 students attend Wider reading classes to promote reading for pleasure.
