The Malanda State High School Enrolment Management Plan (EMP) was updated on the 10th May 2024. Potential families are required to demonstrate that the student's principal residential address is within the school's local catchment area upon enrolment.

Once the 'in catchment' demand has been met the EMP defined number of enrolments from 'out of catchment' commences across all year levels.
