STEM Ambassador

20/05/2016
On the 9 March Year 10 student Amy Webb travelled to Brisbane to attend the inaugural STEM Girl Power Camp.  111 students from across the state applied for a scholarship to attend the STEM Camp with only 22 selected.   Amy attended inspirational workshops from world renowned scientists, participated in cancer cell observations; spoke with female scientists about the struggles faced in a male dominated career and attended the first ever World Science Fair held outside of New York.  Amy has now become a STEM Ambassador for Education Queensland in the FNQ Region.  Congratulations Amy – your teachers are very proud of you.
