Gold and Silver Level Excursion

1/05/2013
Students enjhoying time at Mungalli with their new Japanese friends
At the end of Term 1 and in the first week of Term 2 two groups of Year 9 Silver Level students and a small group of potential Year 8 Silver Level students, attended an excursion to Mungalli Falls to partake in a day of activities with visiting Japanese students.

Students participated in a range of activities including archery, raft building and a giant water slide, just to name a few. The students all returned to school telling many wonderful and exciting stories about their trips and expressed that although at times difficult to communicate with the Japanese students that it was a great experience learning to work with other cultures.

The weather was also a challenge for the first group of students however it certainly doesn’t sound like this dampened their spirits at all.

Well done to all of the students who participated.
